Birdhill Festival

Annual Birdhill Song writing contest, song written by John Mulcahy and sung by my mum Eileen Briscoe. Championship winning performance. That's 2 in a row for the talented artists.

The weekend was full of activities, starting with the unveiling of the plaque celebrating 150 years of the Birdhill train station. Followed by set dance competition and drinking at the pub.
The following day saw the vintage cars and tractors parade that stopped the road, tug wars, pig on the stick and the singing competition. Plus more drinking, of course!!
All fun and games. Well done for all the organizers.
